Security Guard

A security guard with Path of Life will protect premises, assets, and personnel by maintaining a high visibility presence and preventing all illegal or inappropriate actions. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Protect POLM property, guests, and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment 

  • Patrol building and perimeter randomly and regularly

  • Observe signs of noncompliance or disorder and investigating disturbances

  • Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates

  • Watch alarm systems and emergency equipment

  • Perform first aid or CPR 

The security guard at POLM facilities will detect, deter, observe and report. 

Director of Case Management

Path of Life Ministries’ (POLM’s) Achievement Coaches and Interns are responsible for working with clients (shelter guests and/or others enrolled in POLM programs) to assess the client’s assets and needs, and assist the client in developing and monitoring the following:

  • Individual action plans leading toward self-sufficiency

  • Short and long term goals leading toward the successful completion of that action plan, if not exceed expectations

  • Tools and/or resources and support systems  leading toward and exceeding the successful completion of that action plan


The Director of Case Management will not only oversee the Achievement Coaches and their daily duties, but also develop tools, policies, procedures, and suggest programmatic change as needed. They will also assist in directing on-site Interns with their program needs and developing Social Work/Behavioral Health skills. They will maintain direct contact with guests/participants for POLM and assist Achievement Coaches and Interns with their case-loads as needed. They will be a member of the POLM Leadership Team as an advocate for their programs and contributing leader in the work of POLM.

Residential Services Staff (RSS)

Residential Services Staff are responsible for assisting guests and other staff and maintaining the quality of daily activities and services at Path of Life Ministries sites. All Residential Services Staff are responsible for supervision within and around the premises to which they are assigned, assisting as needed with food service, monitoring and reporting on the condition of the site and assisting with general maintenance as needed, assisting with daily janitorial duties, helping to create and maintain a safe encouraging and positive atmosphere within the program, assisting with guest relations including intakes, guest requests, grievances and compliance issues, assisting with volunteer and visitor relations, and other daily operational duties as assigned or requested.

Residential Services Staff must work closely with supervisors on emergency decisions and/or giving direction to subordinate Interns according to the policy, procedures, principals, and values of Path of Life Ministries
